Morzine, paragliding hotspot

For pilots, the Morzine site is very rich in aerology which allows all types of flight. Both thermal, early in the morning, in the fabulous “cliffs” sites, to let yourself slide at the end of the afternoon, on a flight in dynamic conditions until late in the evening…

The site actually has 3 takeoffs, two of which are frequently used. Their different exhibitions will allow you to take off and fly all day long. Their exposure goes from South/South East to West/North West, for a difference in altitude of around 600 m. There is another takeoff at the entrance to Avoriaz, but not very busy. Shorter and more technical, it may discourage some.
Regarding landings, we have 2 official ones. The first Principale is located at the foot of the Pleney mountain (free flight stadium), and the second, used most often for students or for security. This one is very useful, in case the crossing of Morzine seems tricky!!
